Are you an experienced Project Officer/Senior Administrator Officer looking for flexible opportunities?

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Project Officers/Snr Administrator Officers to join our casual talent pool in the College of Business & Law.

  • Multiple casual positions available throughout the year 
  • Flexible hours  
  • Based at the City (Melbourne) campus but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About the Role  

RMIT’s College of Business and Law are seeking a number of candidates to assist with administrative duties during peak times in the academic calendar. We have a number of opportunities with varying hours across the course of the year.

Our ideal candidates will have outstanding communication skills, be a fast learner, team player with the flexibility to take on additional hours during the College’s peaks.

Please note that this is a talent pool for opportunities as they become available.

  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to coordinate or support projects, including secretarial support to CoBL project working groups as required. 
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key RMIT stakeholders.  
  • Coordinate or support communications across CoBL for project support. 
  • Coordinate CoBL information and communications relating to requests from central teams and respond to stakeholder enquiries in a professional, accurate and timely manner ensuring the provision of quality client service.  
  • Update intranet components to ensure the information is current; liaise with appropriate stakeholders to complete updates.  
  • Undertake other duties as required from time to time. 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience at RMIT or the Higher Education sector.  
  • Prior knowledge and experience with process mapping and process mapping applications (I.e. Nintex Promapp).   
  • Experience creating automation using Microsoft applications (i.e. Microsoft Power Automate) 
  • Formal project management training or experience in end-to-end project support or coordination.
