Why your Role Matters
As the HR Project Officer, your focus will be offering proactive administrative and business support to ensure the efficient progression of HR deliverables. This role plays an integral role in furthering the team’s ability to deliver the suite of HR services that address the diverse needs and interests of our staff.

We’re looking for a strong administrator with sound stakeholder management skills and existing project experience to drive HR initiatives. You’ll work closely with colleagues to provide efficient project support across admin, reporting and analytical needs, that furthers the team’s ability to implement key business improvements and achieve key deliverables.

A varied and dynamic project position, your day to day will include:

  • Coordinating the delivery of HR projects and initiatives to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Providing practical and proactive project support and administrative services to the HR team and stakeholders.
  • Facilitating the development of project plans and documentation, as well as participating in planning processes.
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting on the status of project deliverables, ensuring efficient delivery.

Skills & Experience summary: You will bring existing project co-ordination experience, ideally within the HR or Higher Education sector, alongside the following skills & experience:

  • A sound understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in stakeholder management, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
