  • Exciting opportunity for a driven, strong communicator with project implementation, event and administrative experience to support UWA’s Grand Challenges.
  • Level 6, part-time (0.6FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis until end of December 2024
  • Base salary range: $87,460 - $92,430 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation

About the team

UWA's Education Strategy team supports UWA 2030 and the 2025 Strategic Plan. This includes improving the educational experiences of our students.

Education Strategy focuses on a range of projects and key initiatives supporting the student experience and experience-rich curriculum.

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager (Education Strategy), you will work with staff on specified projects in order to assist in planning, developing and implementing identified projects.

About you 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency
  • Substantial relevant project experience at an appropriate level
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, work independently, and exercise initiative appropriately
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with a range of staff and coordinate contributions from a variety of sources

Experience with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals will be considered favourably.
