Work with key stakeholders to lead  and manage Digital Transformation projects

The Project Managers are members of the Digital Transformation team, responsible for delivering a range of initiatives / projects and associated benefits, that enable digital transformation and growth across the University. Receiving broad direction and working with a considerable degree of autonomy, the Project Managers are responsible for the delivery ofmultip medium to large projects with significant level of complexity and tangible risk. The projects involve working across the various Faculties and Divisions of the University. 

The Project Managers have an end to end responsibility for the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to the University’s methodologies and governance requirements, managing a broad spectrum of key stakeholders, and leading project teams. The Project Managers have a pivotal role in ensuring a high level of customer service and quality outcomes by applying best practice quality assurance methods throughout the project lifecycle.

To be successful you will need:

  • Extensive experience in the application of Project Management principles, techniques and common project delivery methodologies including Agile delivery methods (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum).
  • Knowledge of the SDLC and support environments.
  • Demonstrated, significant experience in managing and delivering a diverse range of IT projects (infrastructure, applications, digital transformation) with a focus on benefits realisation, preferably in a Higher Education environment.
  • Extensive experience in managing and delivering multiple IT projects in challenging and complex environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management, negotiation and management.
