The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.
Fixed-term position position available for 12 months
Deliver a range of initiatives supporting adoption of transformative learning processes and experiences.
The Learning Enhancement and Innovation branch leads institution-wide development and change in learning and teaching, including advice, support and development services; services supporting ongoing academic and professional development and recognition; and the development and application of robust learning analytics to inform educational strategy and practice, and enhance student retention and success.
As the Project Manager, you will coordinate and deliver projects within the Learning Enhancement and Innovation portfolio to meet strategic institutional learning, teaching and assessment goals. Working under broad direction, you will be responsible for projects of varying size, complexity and budget and deliver quality outcomes by applying best practice quality assurance methods throughout the project lifecycle. Operating collaboratively with others, as the Project Manager, you will deliver a range of initiatives supporting adoption of transformative learning processes and experiences.
To be successful you will need:
- Extensive experience in a Project Manager role or equivalent in Higher Education.
- Demonstrated experience using Agile delivery methodologies e.g. Scrum, Kanban.
- Experience in managing multiple projects, demonstrating highly developed organisational skills and a capacity to act independently within established guidelines.
- Ability to lead and manage staff in a small team, including mentoring and coaching.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication skills to liaise and consult, prepare briefing papers and reports, manage change and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
