About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project manager to support delivery of significant initiatives in human genomics data sharing and analytics. The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders, including some of Australia's leading biomedical research institutions, to establish national digital infrastructure for human genome data warehousing, sharing, and analysis that adheres to global best practice standards. This is a unique and exciting role that offers the potential for personal and professional development within a dynamic and collaborative team culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the planning, implementation, and delivery of multiple projects / initiatives, including developing project plans, timelines, budgets and defining success criteria for multiple projects within the Human Genome Informatics Initiative.
• Monitoring and evaluating project progress, budgets, scope and change control.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including biomedical researchers, bioinformaticians, business analysts and software developers, to develop and implement integrated delivery plans that enhance project value, delivery, and success.

Who We Are Looking For
An enthusiastic team member with demonstrated significant experience in managing multiple service delivery projects, strong interpersonal skills,excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You will be motivated by the opportunity to lead significant new and ongoing initiatives in human genome informatics and support the development of national digital infrastructure for human genome data warehousing, sharing, and analysis.

You will also have:

• Appropriate tertiary-level postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in project management, and/or at least 5 years’ relevant project management experience.
• Significant experience with successfully managing multiple digital technology projects in parallel.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, cost, and deliver multiple projects on time and on budget.
• Ability to handle situations that require initiative, independent judgement, consultation with senior stakeholders, sensitivity and tact.
