About the opportunity

The Project Manager, Faculty Projects is responsible for project organisation, including the delivery of project plans and effectively manage project activities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- manage project activities and deliverables within budget and agreed time frames
- manage project governance and reporting to ensure progress is monitored and risks mitigated
- communicate project management methodology, processes, and templates to the project team
- ensure effective collaboration and teamwork with other project teams and stakeholders across the University.
About you
- extensive experience managing multiple work streams, or leading large complex projects and ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands
- experience managing a diverse group of key internal/external stakeholders on large or complex projects
- excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters
- financial management experience and literacy, experience managing budgets and controlling income and expenditure for a project
- sound understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, cost, risk, procurement and integration
- working experience in the higher education/tertiary sector or at a complex, multi-faceted organisation.
