About the UniSA Enterprise Hub

The UniSA Enterprise Hub will make it even easier for businesses, industry and community groups to partner and collaborate with the University on research and business innovation projects. The initiative will see the creation of a new virtual and physical ‘front door’ for industry, government, community and not-for-profit engagement with the University. The UniSA Enterprise Hub will give a new lease on life to an iconic Adelaide landmark at 9 Light Square to create a flexible, integrated and agile space that facilitates change and innovation.

About the Role

The Project Manager will undertake strategic and operational responsibilities and establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project deliverables. The focus of the role is to coordinate reporting and timelines across the key work streams of the UniSA Enterprise HubTM project, monitoring risks and detailed deliverables to meet project milestones pre and post implementation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Establish strong networks and working relationships with Academic and Professional Units to identify, engage, and leverage expertise to support delivery of project outcomes
  • Research and analyse initiatives, issues and practices relating to industry engagement and the strategic objectives of the UniSA Enterprise HubTM, providing advice to ensure effective project outcomes within risk tolerances
  • Prepare high quality submissions and project status reports for project sponsors, the Enterprise Hub Steering Committee and the Enterprise Leadership team
  • Review, evaluate and communicate project outcomes to stakeholders for benefits realisation and continuous improvement
  • Provide high level executive support to committees and working groups

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in driving and executing concurrent projects with competing deadlines in a complex environment comparable to higher education
  • High level negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate effectively with a range of audiences and present complex information with clarity
  • Demonstrated high-level written skills including significant experience in preparation of strategic and executive reports
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including significant experience in costing business cases, developing project budgets, and managing financial reporting
