  • Commencement Salary: $119,598 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

The Project Manager: E-Commerce Solution is responsible for the day-to-day management of a dedicated project to configure and implement a new e-commerce (online payment receipting) solution, and the development and transition of in-scope payment receipting forms and processes to target user cases in the new online environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project manage and coordinate the ‘Delivery’ phase of the project
  • Manage a virtual team of internal staff, ensuring that the right skills are employed at each stage of the project
  • Build relationships between the Finance Unit, Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS) and internal and external stakeholders
  • With relevant user case owners, manage the identification, analysis and prioritisation of specific user cases within the general milestones set out in the Project Implementation Plan
  • Develop, implement, monitor and control risk management strategies for the project to ensure deliverables are achieved and expectations managed


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a field relevant to the role or equivalent skills and knowledge equating to previous substantial work experience in project management
  • High level negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate effectively with a range of audiences and clearly articulate and present complex information in a meaningful and usable form
  • Significant experience in coordinating the collation of business requirements
  • Extensive experience in successfully managing projects of significant scope and complexity, including demonstrated ability to manage human and financial resources in a project setting
  • Proven experience in leading a cross-functional team to provide high quality infrastructure systems project delivery in a University or similar environment
