The Centre for Enabling Pathways is a newly established centre with the UniReady Enabling Program as the main flagship program. The UniReady Enabling Program has been running since 2010 and has a long history of success in helping students obtain their pathway to Higher Education. It is offered in a wide variety of modes and locations including Curtin Bentley Camps, Open Universities Australia and Prisons
The Projects team are a cohesive, dynamic team who have involvement across various projects within the Centre.
Your new role
The Project Coordinator will work within the Projects team and be responsible for the smooth delivery of the program to about 50 high schools across Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is passionate about education and who would like to work closely with high school teachers in supporting them through the delivery and teaching of the UniReady program within their school.
In this role, you will
- Manage and coordinate project work plans, time lines and implementation and evaluation methods. This is tied to the delivery life cycle of a unit at university and reporting for schools to SCSA (Schools Curriculum Standards Authority)
- Coordinate activities related to assigned projects, using appropriate project management methodology and systems, to achieve the defined project outcomes
- Liaise with relevant partners and stakeholders and provide them with support and advice on the delivery of the program to the Project Lead
- Coordinate resources associated with the delivery of assigned projects, monitor projects costs and provide updates and reports
- Easily accessible location with great parking, bus station and end of trip facilities

We are looking for someone with:
- Completion of a relevant degree qualification in Education or a relevant degree with teaching experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes within resourcing constraints.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise project reports.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and often competing tasks with attention to accuracy and detail within deadlines.
- Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting difference, leading and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals.
- You will require a working with children check (WWC).
