Project Advisor, Work Based Learning

- HEO8 - TRP $115,970 - $132,615 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation
About the Position
A member of the Partnerships team within the Office of the Provost, the Project Advisor, Work Based Learning will provide advice and support on a range of strategic and operational matters relevant to and/or affecting Work Based Learning operations, including the development and implementation of strategies, policies and frameworks. They will be required to work closely with senior staff within the Partnerships portfolio in the Office of the Provost, as well as key stakeholders in the Schools and Divisions, to inform business improvements that ensure a student centred and coordinated approach to services.
The position will be responsible for activities related to projects enabling the embedding and process improvement to support sustainable and scalable Work Based Learning operations, providing technical advice on fit for purpose, monitoring progress and quality assessment of implementation. The primary focus will be to synergise existing and/or develop and embed processes, procedures and resources to streamline and expedite the execution of Work Based Learning agreements and related documentation to meet the necessary obligations and requirements within the new operating model.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and relevant experience in operationalising and administering work integrated learning in an education or training context.
- Ability to undertake significantly complex piece of analysis work and collaborate with stakeholders to document, review and validate operational processes, ensuring their fit for purpose and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Proven record of developing innovative solutions and practical implementations for strategic change and in pursuit of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated a high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships.
- You must hold, or be willing to undertake and pass, a Victorian employee working with children check.
