About the Role 
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Program Support Officer to undertake a wide range of administrative functions in support of the program activities of the Aerostructures Innovation Research (AIR) Hub, the Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2) and MedTechViC.

In this role you will support ongoing operations through a variety of tasks across the three research hubs. The role enables compliance with both Swinburne’s and regulatory processes and assist in the implementation and streamlining of these processes.

You will be responsible for engaging with various stakeholders and have overall responsibility for liaising with People & Culture to coordinate human resource administration within the hubs, in accordance with the policies, processes and procedures within Higher Education and the University.  

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality administrative and support services including financial project management and contract administration to achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Proven ability to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems including adapting work practices.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks within tight timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare materials for reporting.

Qualifications

A degree in a relevant field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
