  • Commencement Salary: $104,143 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Program Services Manager, Quality & Compliance ensures the effective planning, coordination and delivery of projects and activities associated with fulfilling external accreditation requirements, and in supporting the ongoing development of quality processes to ensure the academic programs maintain and build their reputation and market position.

This role is a key professional staff member and provides support to a portfolio of programs and disciplinary activity, working closely with the relevant Deans of Programs to ensure the effective management of external accreditation.  The position plays an active role in providing analysis to support the management of program quality, and in driving quality processes and continuous improvement opportunities.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate support for the Deans of Programs and Dean of Research for program accreditation processes and related activities and projects
  • Contribute to, and lead, planning activity in relation to the key responsibilities of external accreditation and associated activities
  • Plan and coordinate the effective delivery of internal and external accreditation processes for the Unit’s academic programs
  • Support the ongoing development of quality processes and continuous improvement opportunities in support of academic programs
  • Provide leadership, management and mentoring to professional staff in the Quality & Compliance portfolio

Essential Skills and Experience 
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, knowledge and skills in a related professional discipline with experience in a complex service-oriented organisation
  • A successful track record of managing teams and resources in a multi-disciplinary environment to deliver quality services and continuous improvement against strategic objectives
  • Extensive experience in project management and the provision of high-quality service, working autonomously to meet timelines and lead complex, high pressure and high risk projects
  • Successful achievement in leading, motivating and managing effective partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in communicating effectively with the ability to influence a wide range of constituencies
