  • Full-time, fixed term contract until 31 May 2022
  • Commencement Salary: $90,234 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

As the Program Lead, you will oversee and manage the Innovation & Collaboration Centre (ICC)  community by developing effective relationships and facilitating strategic business opportunities. You will play a key role in developing, establishing and managing a range of innovative programs, initiatives and offerings provided by the ICC, ensuring the programs are delivered to the highest standard.

A primary focus of this position is to manage the delivery of the Venture Catalyst program across various categories of space, hi-tech and social enterprise.

The Innovation & Collaboration Centre (ICC) is a strategic venture between the University of South Australia (UniSA) and the South Australian Government supporting technology-based incubation and acceleration programs for startups. By leveraging world class technology and UniSA's expertise in business growth, creative thinking, commercialisation and technology, the ICC supports the lifecycle from idea generation to growth and expansion for students, businesses and industry.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the ICC start up community by providing advice, facilitating introductions and supporting start-up companies based in the ICC with their business goals
  • Project manage the ICC offerings through independent research of relevant initiatives, trends and issues
  • Identify and manage events, workshops, meetings and seminars that support the ICC’s strategic initiatives
  • Develop concepts and ideas for projects and programs whilst liaising with relevant stakeholders to gain interest and support to further develop projects
  • Independently identify opportunities to promote the ICC and its activities to build, broaden and enhance its profile

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with a strong understanding of contemporary business and project management principles
  • Significant project and/or program management experience, involving the design, development, planning and delivery of complex projects
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills in order to influence and build key relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Proven analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize information and data from multiple sources
  • Excellent initiative, flexibility and organisational skills to effectively deal with competing demands in a complex team environment
