About the opportunities

The Product Manager - Digital Products acts as a single point of contact with university stakeholders to support a suite of digital products and services. This role leads cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to the successful achievement of meeting product objectives from planning through to delivery. They oversee the facilitation, management, and governance role across all areas of their product line including development, requirements analysis, solutions architecture, testing, and implementation.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • collaborate with the Associate Director ICT, Learning and Teaching Technology and relevant Heads of areas to conceptualise, develop, and implement the strategy and vision of the technology services for the product line
  • partner with internal stakeholders and the broader University community to build rapport and business relationships to keep currency with client needs, trends and critical issues
  • identify opportunities for capability uplift and solutions across operational portfolios to ensure a continuous improvement plan
  • produce product road maps and manage refresh plans, and retirement timelines based on key portfolio trends and service consumption patterns
  • manage the full product lifecycle to ensure that, the needs of customers continue to be met and benefits are achieved
  • support and manage vendors to ensure quality of services provisioned to the business and support ongoing optimisation of SLAs.

About you

  • demonstrated experience as a product manager with solid understanding of the agile software development lifecycle and delivery.
  • experience in relationship management or sales , with primary accountability for client relationships at all levels; developing relationships with and ensuring participation of key stakeholders and executives
  • ability to analyse emerging trends in portfolio assigned technologies and determine the impacts on the future state of those technologies to our University services
  • demonstrated experience in defining and prioritising technology projects and implementation plans relative to customer strategy, priorities, and budget
  • experience leading strategic planning and technology roadmap development in alignment with broader organisational strategy.
