  • One (1) full-time continuing position and one (1) fixed term contract until May 2024
  • Salary from $84,539 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

In the role of Process Analyst: Student Administration, you will assist the Manager: Campus Central in training and informing student administration staff across the University to achieve effective and consistent application of student administration processes. You will actively assist in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data held within the University’s student system.

About UniSA Student and Academic Services (SAS)

The Student and Academic Services (SAS) Unit provides senior leadership, guidance and services which enable the University to maximise the success and experience of all UniSA students.  Acting as a key partner and facilitator with academic units, and working collaboratively with other central units, SAS is responsible for the development and maintenance of student facing services, policy, information systems and procedural frameworks.  The Unit coordinates and provides quality assurance for a number of University functions including student support, admissions, enrolments, research candidature, examinations, graduations, student finance and scholarships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall coordination of Campus Central operations including student system requirements, local and University wide processes, timelines, support and service arrangements, documentation and resources
  • Facilitate the development and review of fully documented specifications and appropriate business process documentation as required, including those associated with modifications to system functions
  • Undertake business process and training needs analysis, develop and review business process and training materials, deliver end-user training and provider end-user support
  • Liaise with Campus Central Team Leaders to identify, advise and implement best practice within Campus Central for the delivery and management of student administration and services
  • Evaluate and review student administration operations to identify service improvements and developments to support online service delivery and student self-management

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Commitment to a customer service culture and to working collaboratively in a team-based work environment
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to work with technical, academic and administrative staff at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills including experience in developing and providing training
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions
  • Ability to manage complex information systems and processes using highly developed analytical and information management skills, a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to troubleshoot system related problems
