The PVC (Health Sydney) is a senior leadership position that will lead the engagement with Faculties and Divisions to develop strategies for the expansion of UOW’s Health focused Sydney Metropolitan Campuses at Liverpool and Loftus.

UOW has a strong commitment to deep engagement with communities and industry in metropolitan Sydney, especially the growing South Western and Sutherland regions. Established in 2017, the UOW South Western Sydney (SWS) campus at Liverpool is a strategic growth and sustainability initiative of UOW. The campus is focused on broadly defined health programs, especially critical as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Strategy), this PVC position ensures the delivery of a growing and sustainable portfolio of innovative courses responsive to the current and future needs of the region, and a strong research environment that is collaborative, interdisciplinary and focused on research translation.
