Opportunity to contribute to research in Drinking Water Engineering and Life Cycle Assessment
Base Salary $101K p.a. - $112K p.a + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The School of Civil Engineering is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Drinking Water Engineering and Life Cycle Assessment to undertake research relating to drinking water treatment and supply infrastructure with a focus on Life Cycle Assessment as a key methodology. Water engineering is an emerging research strength within the School and the establishment of this position is intended to help grow that strength. Considerable opportunities to collaborate with a wide range of academic researchers and established industry partners are available,
Your key responsibilities will be to:
contribute to research publications and present findings at relevant conferences and seminars,
develop collaborative research relationships with other staff and established industry partners of the School and wider academic community,
collaborate in the planning and organization of events, seminars, and workshops related to the research area
participate in the preparation and submission of research grant applications,
provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and assist in their research projects.
About you

a PhD (or near completion) in the relevant field of Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
demonstrated skills/knowledge/experience in drinking water engineering and life cycle assessment
a proven track record through literature review, qualitative and quantitative research and laboratory methods
demonstrated contributions to publications in top tier conferences and journals
