The Position
Are you passionate about plant diseases and eager to explore the frontiers of plant immunity? The Solomon and Williams labs in the Research School of Biology at The Australian National University, are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill a Postdoctoral Fellow position. This role is pivotal to our ground-breaking project focused on dissecting a novel plant immunity pathways that hold the key to sustainable agriculture and secure food production.

As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will lead innovative research efforts aimed at identifying and characterizing a new key receptor in plant defence. You will employ cutting-edge techniques in protein-protein interactions, biochemistry and molecular biology facilitate the identification and characterisation of the receptor. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with leading scientists in the field, access to top-tier research facilities, and the chance to publish in high-impact journals.

The Person
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow with following skillset:

- PhD in Biochemistry, or a related field.

- Strong publication record relative to opportunity demonstrating expertise in plant biochemistry. Experience in plant immunity or working on receptor-ligand interactions would be preferred.

- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
