We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to work as part of the Institute for Nutrition Research on projects focusing on dietary factors to promote musculoskeletal  and mental health. This work will primarily be targeted at reducing the incidence of falls, by improving both physical and mental health.

We are seeking a researcher who has completed their PhD in Nutrition with experience with clinical trials and nutrition epidemiology. The applicant must have significant experience in advanced biostatistics evidenced by publications.

Requirements:

  • PhD. in Nutrition within the last 2 years
  • Excellent track record of scientific achievement and demonstrated creative abilities
  • Possess excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently, as a leader or a research project and as a part of a team

The applicant should have a demonstrated capacity to form hypotheses, test them and follow through to write papers.

Benefits & Remuneration
This 0.8 FTE, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $90,957 to $97,389 pa (ALEVA, step 6 to step 8) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
