The Planning, Analytics and Integration Group within CSIRO IM&T supports the enterprise data functions that underpin CSIRO’s business systems. These incorporate in excess of 100 products, including in-house developed systems to custom configured systems, as well as the management of numerous “off the shelf” products. The Automation and Integration team sits within the Planning, Analytics and Integration group, providing business process optimisation, data access connectivity, and system support to CSIRO’s business community.

The team operates using DevOps and agile practices and has a policy of continuous review and improvement. Our environment encourages innovation and provides the technology and autonomy to get on with delivery.

The team supports a range of off-the-shelf software platforms, including Donesafe – our digital Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) platform, and DocuSign – our Digital Signatures platform, along with other Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) platforms.

This role will be responsible for administering these COTS platforms, helping to provide both technical, system configuration and user support. It is anticipated that you will become a functional expert in the platforms you are responsible for, with a detailed knowledge of the platform capabilities, an understanding their architecture, the solution design, and detailed configuration.

Working closely with the Support Lead and other support staff in the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking the maintenance and support for these COTS platforms, planning releases, change-requests, and patching when needed. You will act as the liaison point for any platform support requests that need to be escalated to the vendor.
