About the Role

We are looking for Payroll Officers to join our friendly, high performing Payroll team. With excellent attention to detail, you will thrive working in a fast paced and high-volume environment to deliver best practice payroll service across the University.

We have two full-time positions available, one on a continuing basis and one fixed term contract opportunity until April 2023.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and high-volume payroll related data processing
  • Handle staff member payroll enquiries and follow up to ensure matters are resolved
  • Calculate staff provisions and perform complex calculations in relation to the employee lifecycle

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Certification in payroll administration or relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience using complex HR systems
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve both numerical and written issues through the interpretation of legislation, policy and procedure with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly developed time management and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines in a high volume, complex environment
