(HEO5) $72,832 to $80,983 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply.

This rewarding and challenging payroll opportunity has become available due to a internal promotion.

The Payroll & Benefits Officer is responsible for the provision of client-focused HR Administration and Superannuation and the maintenance and integrity of data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The role is a specialist in the operational superannuation reporting and is responsible for the statutory superannuation reporting and error management.

The role is also responsible for providing timely and accurate client service and advice in respect of employee entitlements, and has a close working relationship with other teams across the Human Resource function.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in HR, Payroll and Superannuation administration and the use of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of workplace agreements, and HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated, high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to excellent client service and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in the use of PeopleSoft in respect of Payroll, Employee Benefits and Leave (desirable).
