About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Partner Engagement Manager to join our Research and Innovation Services team here at UniSA.

The Partner Engagement Manager (Strategic Initiatives) will take a lead role in the delivery and management of the Partnering Skills Development Program and will have a strong focus on;

• Responsibility for the development of end-user-linked research activity and revenue generation within strategically important industry sectors with an initial focus on the Defence portfolio.

• Delivery and program management of the Partnering Skills Development Program.

Research and Innovation Services (RIS) Team supports the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research and Enterprise to deliver outcomes in line with the University’s Research and Innovation Strategic Plan 2016-2020, through responsiveness changing local, national and international environment and the delivery of high quality, effective support services to researchers and decision makers.

Skills and Experience

Do you have experience working in defence or with defence industry and generating new business and managing strategic research partner relationships? If so, this would be a great opportunity for you.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with high level communication skills, who has commercial and project management experience within a complex organisation likened to a university. Demonstrated research and analytical skills including the provision of advice and recommendations to senior management.

Demonstrated capability in the preparation of business planning and research grant budgets is essential for you to be successful in this role.
