Overview

Working in the Security & Traffic Services environment is dynamic, as you will be working across all areas of our business including Traffic Management (permits, infringements, event parking etc) Emergency Management (fire wardens, training, and supporting processes) and Security (Response, incident follow-up Master key management, systems and Maintenance etc). The position will (from time to time) require the ability to undertake frontline Security duties (control room, patrols).This position is a trusted position requiring a high level of discretion.

This role has a direct impact on the health, wellbeing, security, safety, and reputation of the ECU community. The successful applicant is required to act as an Authorised Officer under the Edith Cowan University Act and associated By-laws and is required to hold WA security licences (Security Officer/Control room officer).

Support and training is available and will be offered to the successful applicant to ensure the above requirements are met. 

A good understanding of the applicable legislation and standards with the ability to apply this within an operational environment would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will be required to provide a national police clearance.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $75,821-$84,254 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
