The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity opens for an Operations Officer to be an integral part of the Monash Faculty of Law. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position provides a range of professional and high-quality administrative services to support the teaching and research activities across the Faculty. Key responsibility areas consist of the delivery of a range of core services including, support for planning and maintenance of physical space, the provision of day-to-day administrative services relating to equipment and occupational health and safety practices.

The Operations Officer plays an important role in facilitating effective solutions for stakeholders on the procurement, delivery, troubleshooting and review of their space, resource and equipment requirements. This position operates with excellence in process and judgement to provide sound and timely advice and support to staff and other stakeholders.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing prompt solutions and high levels of customer service in accordance with policies and procedures when implementing a range of effective administrative tasks. 

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated organisational skills, excellent administration skills, proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to excellence in customer service.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated. The role will also require working from 555 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, approximately once a fortnight.
