About the Role

Working on site in Adelaide, South Australia, this is an exciting opportunity for a professional from the discipline of Business and Data Analysis with expertise in the industry and teaching, to support the launch of our new Bachelor of Digital Business (XBDB) in conjunction with Accenture.

Uniquely co-developed with global consulting and technology powerhouse, Accenture, this degree will take students beyond the foundations of business management and teaches the skills to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development and teaching of engaging course curricula and materials for the online program. You will implement teaching approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes, whilst contributing to the recruitment and development of teaching staff within UniSA Online.

Critical to the success of the role, you will be working on site to establish strong partnerships with stakeholders across the University, ensuring that UniSA Online identifies and responds to strategic opportunities.

Within the University of South Australia the Online Lecturer role holds the title of Online Course Facilitator.

*This position is located in Adelaide and does not have capacity to work remotely.

The UniSA Online unit, reporting to the Provost & Chief Academic Officer, delivers high quality, supportive, flexible and interactive online education for students, and embodies the corporate values of innovation, client service and academic excellence.

The current phase of the UniSA Online project (2021-2023) is to work towards our strategic ambitions detailed in Enterprise25, to grow our online postgraduate programs and short courses, and expand our reach to students based overseas.

Essential Skills and Experience

To be successful you will have a doctoral qualification or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline along with recent teaching experience and discipline expertise in the areas of Business and Data Analysis. Your experience in using a range of teaching methodologies and education technologies that support online learning and course administration is essential together with expertise in the design and preparation of online teaching resources. You will have a high level of both written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build a positive culture within your team.
