Overview

Research Services at Edith Cowan University has recently expanded to provide outstanding support to the University’s growing research priorities.


We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our Graduate Research Services Team, to support the team to manage and coordinate research support services for doctoral and research master students and their supervisors.


To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and capabilities:

  • Experience in a complex customer-oriented and have worked in a high-volume transaction processing environment.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to establish priorities, achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • A performance-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to act with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, problem solving, analysis and judgment to provide accurate and appropriate outcomes.
  • Focusing on all aspects of customer service to achieve quality outcomes for all parties including internal and external customers at all levels.

Previous experience in the Higher Education industry, particularly with respect to postgraduate research students, whilst not essential, will be well regarded.


The position is 0.8 FTE and would be expected to work Mondays and at least part of Thursday, but the remainder of the hours are negotiable.

Benefits & Remuneration

This 0.8 FTE fixed term position attracts a remuneration of $73,257 to $81,404 PRO-RATA (HEW 5) including 17% University superannuation contribution.
