Catalyst-Clemente Australia at Australian Catholic University is a nationally operated, externally partnered, humanities education program for marginalised individuals. It breaks the cycle of poverty and inequality by offering its students the opportunity to explore and develop their intellectual interests in an environment that is encouraging, inclusive, and supportive.

The National Administrative and Project Officer will work closely with the National Leader, site-based Program Advisors and the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Engagement), ACU Engagement, to ensure the timely and effective delivery of the national Clemente Australia Program.

The role requires ongoing engagement and communication with ACU professional staff, academic units, and external stakeholders to support the program's strategic priorities in teaching and learning, research and community engagement.

You will need to have:

  • Completion of a degree in humanities, social sciences, education or related discipline and/or relevant training; extensive experience in the higher education sector and/or complex large organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable people experiencing disadvantage.
  • Highly developed empathy and compassion for students experiencing disadvantage with a dedicated willingness to support their complex needs.
  • High level administrative, computer and organisational skills with the ability to manage many diverse activities in a demanding environment.

Total remuneration valued to $105,196 - $113,853 pa, including salary component $88,892 - $96,207 pa (Higher Education Worker Level 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
