About us

The Moorditj Yorga Scholarship (MYS) Program at Curtin University supports mature-age Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women – those who are perhaps thinking that the promise of higher education has passed them by – to enter university, successfully pass their degree, and receive tailored mentoring as they transition into their careers.
As the Moorditj Yorga Coordinator, you will develop, promote, administrate and coordinate the MYS program to ensure current and future students are supported throughout their time at Curtin. You will provide holistic support to moorditj yorgas, and help to celebrate and build upon their personal and cultural strengths as they complete their university education. Like these women, you will bring your own strengths and experiences to Curtin, and help to advocate and advance this program and the experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.

This is a significant opportunity for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander professional woman to join the team, and help to shape and drive this transformational program and the fulfilment of its vision.
