The toughest part about studying was not only going through family struggles, but also the disadvantage I have with my hearing. Receiving a scholarship has changed my life. It's helped improve my mental health, knowing that I have support from Monash to study regardless of my hearing. It's also helped me become financially independent with the costs of my studies, and helped me stay on track towards my career goals.
