About the opportunity

The Save Sight Institute facilitates research, education, and patient care to prevent vision loss from eye diseases and other conditions. The Institute partners with and is located at the Sydney Eye Hospital on Macquarie Street in Sydney. We have an opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join the clinical reception team, providing efficient clinical booking and billing services to our many patients, in a caring and supportive manner.

As the first point of contact for the clinic, you will greet patients, check them in for their appointments, resolve any queries or concerns that they may have, and also provide superior administrative record keeping to support the clinicians, consultants and researchers at the clinic.

  • has demonstrated experience working in a busy clinical practice
  • has excellent digital aptitude, particularly with the Microsoft suite of products, and medical booking and billing software such as VIP, VIP.net or similar

  • contributes to a positive and engaging team culture.
