About the role
Curtin University has a range of services, programs and resources that provide our students with medical assistance as well as help them enhance their mental and physical wellbeing. Our on campus Medical Centre provides comprehensive general practice patient care which includes, management of all health problems including mental health, nutritional advice, nursing care and help with accidents and sudden illness on campus.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join the team and provide services to support the operation of the centre and our general practitioners. Specifically, this role provides medical reception services to support the University’s Health Service and requires someone with good knowledge of medical work area processes.
In this role you will utilise medical software for billing, appointments and medical filing, provide administrative support, create and maintain confidential patient files, prepare letters and medical reports, monitor and order office consumables, as well as maintain office systems, policies and procedures to ensure its efficient operation.
