We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our accredited health services practice based at our renowned Curtin University Bentley campus. In this role, you will:

  • Assist in scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and providing information on health services offered.
  • Manage patient records, handle phone calls, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient patient flow and contribute to a positive clinic environment.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive patient information.
To be successful, you will have:
  • Previous experience working in an administrative/reception role within the health services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic demeanour.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, with the ability to manage appointments and patient records accurately.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with healthcare regulations.

You will require current work rights in Australia that match the contract tenure to be considered. This position is

based

at our Curtin Bentley campus, candidates are expected to either be currently located in Perth, WA, or express a willingness to relocate.

Competitive Salary and Leave Entitlements: We offer a competitive salary package starting from $31.95/hour + leave entitlements + 17% superannuation. We prioritise work life balance by offering up to 4 weeks of paid annual leave and 14 days of paid personal leave per calendar year. You can also look forward to no longer working weekends, public holidays and enjoy 2 weeks off during the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
