Overview
The Edith Cowan University (ECU) Student Health Service provides a range of general practice services primarily to ECU students and staff including preventative health care, sexual health screening, mental health management, travel vaccination clinics and chronic disease management. 

We are seeking an experienced general practice medical receptionist/administrator for a part time role, 15.5 hours per week, set days and hours of 8.15am – 4.30pm Monday and Wednesday.

Primarily based at the Joondalup campus, occasional days at the Mount Lawley campus will be required for leave coverage and training.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in the general practice setting
  • Exceptional telephone manner and customer service
  • Patience and kindness to patients from a diverse range of backgrounds, languages and cultures
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft programs including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Competent in the use of practice software applications such as PracSoft/Medical Director or Best Practice
  • Team focused and self-driven

Candidates for this position are required to complete or hold a current CPR certificate, provide proof of triple vaccination against COVID-19 and will be required to wear a surgical mask and other personal protective equipment as requested by the practice manager or clinical leaders.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of integrity, respect, rational inquiry, personal excellence and courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This fixed term part time position (15.5 hours per week) attracts remuneration of $69,152 to $73,652 pa pro rata plus 17.5% University superannuation contribution.
