  • Base salary: $70,000 p.a plus superannuation

About the role

This position will be employed by UniLink WA, a key partner organisation of The University of Western Australia.

You will be working with one of the Group of Eight Universities in the international education sector. Having the great opportunity to exert your marketing skills, develop your potential and build up your experience, you will work collaboratively with other colleagues and independently.

The Marketing Officer is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic professional working towards the world as you will be responsible for liaising with different inquiries from various departments all over the world. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Possible overseas travel
  • Develop tools, resources and strategies for branding, marketing and media that align with the targets and programs and support key organisational priorities including administration and logistics of student service/activities
  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies
  • Conduct marketing research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  • Plan, prepare, manage and distribute marketing materials, organize and support marketing activities and events
  • Liaise and meet with different companies/departments
  • Ensure enquiries from all sources are responded to and actioned in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with managers and team(s) in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
  • Developing relationships with various communities, and maintain partnerships and relationships with other organizations
  • Other duties as required

About you

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

  • An outgoing person and enjoy working with students
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency
  • Marketing knowledge including an understanding of student recruitment, customer relationship management, direct marketing and sales, event coordination, online marketing and social media, and advertising
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building, liaison and consultation, public speaking, and written communication
  • Attention to detail (accuracy and consistency), time management, problem-solving, and well-development organising skills
  • Self-motivated, show initiative and work productively as part of a team
  • Knowledge in a range of computing skills including Microsoft Office, internet and email
  • A degree of sensitivity and appropriate responsiveness to cultural diversity
  • Knowledge of international education, and experience in student activities/ marketing events is ideal but not mandatory
  • Fluent in English
