  • Base Salary $117K + 17% superannuation 

About the opportunity

The Marketing Communications Specialist, Advancement is responsible for the development and execution of campaigns and wider marketing initiatives to meet the Advancement team’s and University’s brand objectives. The role involves: developing marketing campaigns, working closely with senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives, developing content, and overseeing a range of owned channels. The Specialist is a senior member of the marketing team - with management and mentoring responsibilities and will deliver cross-team marketing projects as required.

About you

  • demonstrates extensive experience in the development and implementation of marketing communication campaigns across multiple channels
  • has proven and strong digital marketing skills
  • is a self-starter, adaptable and agile in times of uncertainty and challenges
  • has significant experience building effective stakeholder relationships in a large and complex organisation
  • demonstrates strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • is comfortable making educated and authoritative decisions, based on data and analytics
  • has experience managing and mentoring others.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the reasons for the position.
