About the Role

Marketing and Student Recruitment is seeking a talented Marketing Automation Specialist to join their passionate team at Flinders University.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the implementation and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns that support the University’s marketing and student recruitment objectives. The Marketing Automation Specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Creative Studio, Digital Content Producers and the Student Recruitment team to develop relevant content and assets for various campaigns.

As the Marketing Automation Specialist, you will also be accountable for:

  • Creating, building and managing email marketing campaigns with varying complexities and sizes to nurture prospective students and convert them into students.

  • Collaborating with teams to ensure relevant data is received and utilised for campaigns.

  • Leveraging A/B testing to improve conversion rates, Return on Investment (ROI), email and website click through rate’s (CTR’S) and open rates.

About You

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be highly skilled and have demonstrated experience using CRM systems and marketing automation software, preferably Marketo, within a complex organisation.  You will foster positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and will be committed to delivering optimal, targeted, and personalised messages to achieve student growth.

To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing and Information Management and Systems or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or education and/or training.

  • Experience in a marketing and/or recruitment environment, with a focus on achieving business outcomes.

  • Capacity to learn quickly, be technology savvy and stay current on changing product features and services.
