  • Remuneration: $105,466 to $114,196 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $89,120 to $96,497 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Both Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Marketing and Promotions Officer, Sport to join HiQ, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.

The Marketing and Promotions Officer, Sport will be responsible for developing, promoting, and coordinating campaigns aimed at increasing engagement in sport and recreation activities among students, staff, and the community, with a key focus on QUT’s health and fitness centres. The Marketing and Promotions Officer, Sport will also lead the stakeholder group responsible for ensuring vibrant and active collateral that meets QUT Sport’s brand identity and complies with the broader University marketing and promotion strategies.

What you need to succeed

  • Completion of a degree qualification in a relevant discipline area or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience with subsequent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering strategic communications plans and associated materials, together with experience in market research and campaigns with a focus on Health and Fitness or related Industries.
  • Evidence of ability to prepare communications, including copywriting, editing and implementation, for all media channels.
  • Demonstrated experience with market research and campaign planning with proven returns on investments. 
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of digital channels including EDMs, websites and social media to ensure compliance with QUT’s web standards.
  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing events that are attractive and engaging for target cohorts.
