About the opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Advisor in the Office of Marketing, as part of the Students Services and Operations Division. The Office of Marketing leads and manages the University’s brand and product marketing activities, supporting the overarching objectives of the University Strategic Plan.
The Marketing Advisor will provide high level support to the Director, Marketing across a wide range of marketing activities. The Marketing Advisor is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing plans, and provides tactical advice relating to future student’s awareness and evaluation of our courses.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with College strategy directors and business managers to formulate and execute comprehensive, data-driven marketing campaigns aimed at driving substantial increases in applications and enhancing the institution's market position.
- Analyse market insights, audience segmentation, and competitive intelligence, demonstrating the ability to target and position effectively¬ to contribute to the University’s strategic marketing decisions and refine campaign strategies.
- Oversee the end-to-end creation, enhancement, and timely delivery of marketing materials, maintaining a consistent and resonant brand voice that aligns with the University's strategic objectives.
- Ensure a cohesive integration of marketing activities within the annual and long-term strategic marketing plans, optimising resource allocation for maximum impact.
- Evaluate and elevate the quality standards of campaign materials, applying a discerning strategic lens to align messaging with the University's unique value propositions.
What we’re looking for:
- Completed degree in marketing, communications, or related field, with a proven track record of strategic campaign execution.
- Strong project management skills, adeptly balancing diverse tasks and embracing continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated mastery in strategic communication through impactful plans, publications, and advertising, showcasing versatile copywriting and meticulous editing.
- Effective problem-solving with keen attention to detail, facilitating precise decision-making.
- Thrives in dynamic, high-pressure environments, consistently aligning actions with strategic goals.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $123,548 comprising base salary within the range of $96,071 to $105,597 plus 17% superannuation.
