Overview
The ECU Survey Research Centre, located on ECU’s Joondalup Campus, specialises in high quality data collection for the School of Medical and Health Sciences, other areas within the University, government departments and a variety of health-related organisations and universities. Our Centre has state-of-the-art technology to conduct integral telephone surveys with team members trained in general research methods.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in developing a foundation of market research skills and a desire for exposure to major research projects in the Medical and Health Sciences industry.

The ECU Survey Research Centre is looking to appoint several casual Market Research Interviewers to assist in the collection of data through outbound telephone surveys. Casual work available for suitable candidates for several projects with deadlines for the end of December 2021 with possible extension into 2022.

The successful candidates will have:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to accurately capture data in a timely fashion
  • Good typing speed and high level of accuracy
  • Confidence to build rapport well and display an excellent phone manner
  • Available to do shift work i.e. Mon to Fri from 2pm/4pm-8.30pm AND weekends 10am-4pm
  • Ability to deliver complex survey terminology in a clear spoken manner
  • Sound foundation of general computer skills
  • Experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential
  • Reliable to attend shifts as booked to complete projects in accordance with required deadlines

In addition, you will be required to attain a Police Clearance.

Please note you MUST be available for a minimum of 4 shifts a week (1 weekend day at least) to commence immediately. Weekday shift times are from either 2pm or 4pm until 8:30pm and weekend Saturday or Sunday from 10am-4pm.
