As a result of the recent division of its Legal and Risk functions, the University has established a new Risk Services Branch, with responsibility to manage the University’s Risk Management, Compliance, Business Continuity, Insurance and Internal Audit functions.
Two ongoing opportunities are available for experienced individuals to join the University, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer. These roles are accountable for managing the development and delivery of contemporary frameworks, tools and systems to support the University and its diverse stakeholder groups. These roles are critical to ensuring that the University drives value from our frameworks and processes, maintains critical functions and operations during disruptive events, and gains insights from the reporting that we provide to Executive and across our committees and forums.
Each of these available positions will require:
- Experience in managing an equivalent or a similar function.
- Proven experience in developing and embedding the relevant Policy, Framework and reporting requirements in a large, complex or diverse organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools and technology to support diverse stakeholder processes and ensure that solutions drive efficient process and business value.
- Experience in the delivery of services at the enterprise, program and project level, and an ability to embed services across business processes.
- Experience in building insightful reporting and information that drives decision making across an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate at all levels.
- Postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience.
