About the Role

Reporting to the Deputy Director: International Business Development, this is a key leadership role that will develop, lead and deliver strategic recruitment and mobility activities, targets and growth, aligned to the University’s International Plan 2021-2025 for the UniSA Business and UniSA Justice and Society Academic Units.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead insightful and comprehensive market and sector research and planning activities for Academic Unit international business development and recruitment
  • Provide direction and support for the Academic Unit team in the development, implementation and execution of international recruitment activities including HDR recruitment, mobility outcomes, and transnational initiatives
  • Drive international business development, marketing and promotional activity aligned to strategic objectives and growth targets
  • Ensure UniSA has a high profile presence and strong brand awareness across external stakeholders, networks and partners at a local and international level


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
  • High level knowledge of and experience in the international student recruitment industry, including demonstrated achievements in leading successful higher education recruitment activities and partnerships with international institutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary marketing principles with the ability to identify new international market opportunities and successfully execute marketing plans
  • Highly developed relationship building and interpersonal abilities that underpin collaborative, strategic partnerships, and foster engagement opportunities with external stakeholders
