About This Opportunity   

Locally known as Manager, HR Client Partnering, this role is accountable for the operational management and delivery of strategic HR advice and services within a dedicated client portfolio. The role is the primary point of contact for your stakeholder senior leaders and employees, and encompasses the execution and implementation of HR initiatives aligned to business units and the broader University strategy.  

You will manage a team of HR Advisors, providing support and guidance on complex HR issues, and identifying ways to continuously improve team performance and build capability. You will be a trusted advisor to the business and work with leaders to deliver HR initiative and projects to enhance their objectives and goals. You will provide a seamless interface to the business across all aspects of HR advisory, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, case management and employee relations.  

This is a full-time, continuing (permanent) position.

At HEW level 8, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $108,975.08 to $122,176.31 plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $127,500.84 - $142,946.29 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.

About You   

You will demonstrate previous experience in a similar HR Business Partner position, ideally gained in a large, complex organisation. Your will be an adept communicator with the ability to quickly establish credibility and forge lasting relationships with clients. Your ability to translate complex people issues into tangible and executable people outcomes will be second to none. You will be a proactive thinker who collaborates across the business to provide innovative, data driven decisions for your client group.
