  • Total Remuneration $147,402 to $154,253 pa (including salary of $124,557 to $130,346 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

The Educational Quality and Integrity Directorate (EQID) provides a variety of services that support CQUniversity’s pursuit of excellence, integrity and continuous improvement in educational delivery. 
We focus on educational quality and academic integrity, academic pathways, surveys and analytics, Academic Information Management Systems (AIMS) management and centralised management of Work-Integrate Learning (WIL).

 

Join our dynamic team as the Educational Quality and Academic Integrity Manager and play a key role in shaping the future of education at our institution. Work closely with the Director of EQID to lead the development and implementation of the academic quality framework, ensuring seamless alignment with our Education Strategy and statutory quality standards. In this role, you will take charge of overseeing the University's audit, compliance and accreditation activities and support the University to provide a quality online education experience for students. 

 

Your responsibilities will extend to driving the University's academic integrity agenda, where you will spearhead efforts to position CQUniversity as a leader in detecting, responding to, and preventing academic integrity breaches. Position Requirements

 

  • A degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience or extensive experience in academic misconduct and integrity fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Familiarity with tertiary education regulatory bodies and the ability to implement policies and procedures surrounding academic misconduct into University teaching and learning practices.
  • Recent experience in the investigation and reporting of academic integrity issues in the tertiary sector.
  • An understanding of current academic misconduct issues, trends and strategies in both higher education and the VET sector with the ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues across the University.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to manage and mentor staff.
  • Well-developed understanding of, and the ability to interpret/explain legislation and university policies.
  • This position is required to undertake travel to other CQUniversity campuses across Australia from time to time.
