About the Role
As the Manager, Digital, in Student Communications, you'll lead a talented team of specialists spanning design, web, data, and CRM platforms. Together, you'll craft and execute content and channel strategies aimed at providing current students with an exceptional information experience. 

Collaborating closely with colleagues in Student Communications, your team will manage a suite of channels and assets to support outstanding communications to students, from application to graduation. With your exceptional stakeholder and project management skills, you'll spearhead the delivery of digital projects and initiatives that align with the overarching strategic roadmaps of the Student and Scholarly Services (SASS).  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the enhancement and upkeep of key enterprise student communication channels(website, CRM, student portal, and social media), ensuring seamless alignment across all digital platforms.
  • Understanding the strategic goals of the University to deliver operational plans that align with overall goals.
  • Recommending new and innovative ways to resolve issues by applying a high level of theoretical and applied knowledge.
  • Fostering partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive impactful change and achieve university-wide enhancements in current student communications.

Who we are looking for
We're seeking an experienced digital marketing professional with a proven history of leading mid-sized teams, cultivating a supportive team culture, and driving tangible results. Your expertise in staff management, conflict resolution, and commitment to fostering a cohesive team atmosphere will be highly regarded. You will draw on your stellar interpersonal abilities to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to understand their digital needs, align expectations, and deliver meaningful solutions.

You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualification in digital marketing, communications, or a related field, or possess an equivalent blend of pertinent experience and education/training.
  • Proven track record in planning, managing, and executing strategic digital projects within a service-oriented setting, encompassing integrated design for intricate websites, customer portals, and CRM systems.
  • Experience in leading teams within a CRM environment to construct constituent journeys, involving audience segmentation, journey design, and proficient data management.
  • Ability to work with and manage ambiguity and make strategic decisions in the best interests of the organisation.
