About the Role

Reporting to the Deputy Director: Business Development, you will be responsible engaging with identified sectors (STEM related and business) and the developing of new partnerships nationally and internationally.

You will ensure that UniSA generates revenue from educational, training, research and innovation partnerships with companies and relevant Government agencies under the broad scope of the University's Enterprise Academic Plan, Research and Enterprise Strategic Plan and Industry Plans as appropriate.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and extensive experience in successfully managing a client base within a highly relationship-based, target driven environment (STEM related and/or business sector experience desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience working in Business Development including development strategic relationships within a specific industry segment or segments with a track record of achieving agreed targets.
  • Demonstrated commercial and project management experience in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in generating new business and managing strategic relationships.
  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills including the provision of advice and recommendations to senior management.
