We are looking for an enthusiastic, team-focused, experienced individual to join our Library Environments and Collections Logistics Team. This position requires highly developed organisational, technical and operational skills with the ability to develop and deliver creative ideas to support the Library environments. A strong commitment to the provision of high-quality customer services to the La Trobe University community is essential.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise developed through extensive experience in high traffic and complex environments such as libraries together with knowledge of new technologies. Knowledge of library systems and applications is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and forge solid relationships to achieve stated outcomes across multiple organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating works, logistics, facilities management, space and asset management, technology innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution orientated approach
  • Experience of planning and progressing work activities within general guidelines, using initiative and judgement.
