About the area
The UWA Business School , ranked among the top Business Schools in Australia (3rd in 2022, 4th in 2023 by the AFR), has approximately 100 academic staff and 5000 students, offering undergraduate, masters, MBA and PhD degree. It is accredited by both the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and is a signatory to UNPRME.
The Department of Economics is one of the leading centres for economic research and education in Australia and the Indo-Pacific region. Management and Organisations in the Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, as well as research-based doctoral degrees. The students rank amongst the brightest in Australia, as measured by the Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR). About the opportunity
As the appointee, you will make outstanding contributions to teaching and service within the School in accordance with University rules, its code of conduct and its academic mission.
About you
- PhD or near completion in economics or business analytics.
- Experience and evidence of high-quality teaching of units, workshops, and tutorials at the tertiary level in the fields of macroeconomics (undergraduate level), business analytics, and economic policy analysis (postgraduate level).
- Willingness to contribute collaboratively to academic governance and department administrative matters.
