  • Salary Range: $104,838 - $123,873 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role
As a Lecturer within the discipline of Taxation, your primary focus is on the preparation and delivery of teaching activities within UniSA Business’s undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs. This position will contribute to the development of curricula and will utilise professional/discipline-related expertise to deliver high-quality teaching across the disciplines of taxation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and implement learning activities including lectures, tutorials and assessments
  • Contribute to the design and development of engaging course curricula and materials and ensure that teaching is informed by relevant research in the field
  • Adopt appropriate teaching approaches (including face-to-face, online and blended learning) to promote student learning.
  • Act as a student advisor by providing academic counselling, mentoring and advice to students

Essential Skills and Experience 
  • PhD qualification in taxation, or a Masters in a relevant discipline, and/or professional/industry experience and registrations
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake teaching duties including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources
  • Understanding and experience in using a range of contemporary teaching methodologies
  • Demonstrated competence in using the necessary digital techniques required for effective curriculum delivery
